Let’s swap!

Howdy lovely readers!  How was the weekend for you?!?!? Good I hope. πŸ™‚

I went for an awesome run this morning and managed another PB in terms of my distance.  I made it to 9.02 miles in 1 hour and 37 minutes! Ohhh yeaaaaaah! This run was much tougher than last weeks 8 miler.  I check my time at the 10K mark and hit another PB at 1 hour 1 minute!!!   It was such a great run by this point, but after I kinda hit a wall and could feel myself tiring.  So glad that I made it to 9 miles though, it’s quite an achievement for me.

This afternoon was spent enjoying some lovely quality time with my Mum and my very funny Nan.  I swear she is getting even funnier the older she gets, bless her! In fact it was my Mum that randomly matched you all up for the Foodie Blog Swap!

foodie blog swap

Just a few points…

  • I think a maximum budget of Β£10/$16 is plenty.  I’m very conscious of keeping costs low, but if you and your swap partner agree to spend more then the maximum budget then please go ahead.  However, please, please, PLEASE, bear in mind the shipping costs.
  • Once you find out who your blog partner is, it’s time to get sending those emails detailing your delivery address, dietary requirements, likes and dislikes etc.
  • When you receive your swap post it on your blog so then I can do a round up post at the end.
  • All swaps must be sent by Monday 20th June.  This should allow enough time for shipping by standard airmail and the Foodie Blog Swap to be all wrapped up by the end of the month.

The response has been great and I’m so happy that so many of you want to be involved.  I’m so excited about this!!! It’s going to be so much fun. πŸ˜€

I’ve got quite a few emails to send out, but before I do I’m going to share some weekend food porn with ya’ll…

Now I better go and get sending those emails.  I know some of you have been eagerly awaiting the name of your swap partners all week…ahem…Nicky! πŸ™‚

If you have any questions about the swaps then drop me an email, twitter message or comment!
