Total 0% Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots Review and GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday guys! I have got something really special for you to welcome the weekend big style!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Total Greek Yoghurt to see if I wanted to try and review one of their latest products, being the new Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots. I’m a huge fan of their products and have previous reviewed a selection of yoghurts from their range before which you can read here.

I was sent a Mount Everest supply of the Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots to try out and a big tub of their 0% plain Greek Yoghurt. They all came nicely packaged in a lovely freezer bag that has the characters from their TV advertisement on the front- how cool is that!?

IMG_2718[1]

Normally I try and stay clear from dairy products because of my sinus problems (dairy products promote the formation of mucus) and opt for soy yoghurt instead, so this was a real treat for me!

The split pots make awesome portable breakfasts and on the go snacks. I loved them to make yoghurt messes with fresh fruit with the raspberry and pomegranate compote poured on top.

I even got a little experimental with the tub of 0% Greek yoghurt and blended it with some fresh mango and coconut milk to make my Mango and Coconut Frozen Yoghurt and it turned out amazingly well.

When I feel like treating myself I will definitely be looking to buy these again as I loved the flavour of the raspberry and pomegranate together. I would never have thought to put the two fruits together but it works and made a perfect summery combo!

The entire split pots in the range are made using the 0% fat variety which I think is great. The only downside to this split pot in particular is that the pomegranate and raspberry juice in the compote is from concentrate. However I guess you get a healthy balance with the 0% yoghurt and the sweet compote, so it’s all good!

You can pick up the Total 0% Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots and other varieties from Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Waitrose and Tesco for around £1.15.

Generously, as always Total Greek Yoghurt are giving away a month supply of yoghurt to one of my luck readers.

The week that was…super exciting!

Happy Friday!  I am so glad the weekend is here.  After having last week off from work it has really knocked me for six this week so I am looking forwards to resting up a bit.

The week started off great when the sun decided to come out.  I decided to wear my new stripy maxi dress with my red ballerina pumps.

A huge dose of green tea in my new mug also set my up for my day!

The major thing about this week is that I got my beautiful new car!I’m still getting used to driving it around as it is a lot bigger to what I am used to, but I love it.

On Wednesday my second guest post for amadoloves went live.

This particular post is all about how to get great glowing skin from the food that you eat. So go an check it out if you haven’t already!

The girls at amadoloves also wrote a fabulous guest post for me about vintage wedding inspiration which obviously I am all over right now, thanks girls!

To my surprise I found that I have been featured on Cosmo website as part of their food bloggers hot topics post.

I feel totally honoured and chuffed to mentioned by such an amazing magazine!

This week I have been going mad about cherries…

IMG_2786

My local green grocer was selling them for 39p per 100g so obviously I had to stock up on these juicy ruby red lovelies, yum!

I’ve also been on a bit of a socca high this week too, just cannot get enough of the stuff…

IMG_2773[1]

…plain socca with soya mince in a passata sauce and steamed asparagus.

Yesterday the post woman was my very best friend as she delivered to me a haul of E.L.F cosmetics which I have been sent to review.

IMG_2788

I have heard such great things about this cosmetic range so I cannot wait to try these baby’s out!

IMG_2792

I was practically bouncing off the walls after this soya gingerbread latte.  It tasted gorgeous though!

My Sharpham Park giveaway also came to an end this week so it is time to announce the winner…

….Congrats to Bronagh!  Could you please send me your details so I can arrange to get these sent out to you asap!

Has anything exciting happened to you this week?

Have you tried E.L.F. cosmetics before?  What did you make of them?

Sharpham Park Review and GIVEAWAY!

Two weeks ago I was contacted my Sharpham Park and asked of I would like to review their new Spelt Bran Flakes with Berries cereal. IMG_2648[1]

I have reviewed some of Sharpham Park’s products before which you can read here.  From past experience I knew that their products are of the highest quality so was very happy to be contacted again to try out their new bran flakes.

Since you guys were so amazing and liked my last vlog I thought I would record another installment for you, for this review.

Slightly better than mu last one me thinks, if a little choppy at times! Winking smile

I’ve really been enjoying this cereal and have been eating them not stop.  They are great with the addition of chopped fresh fruit and with nut milks.
